It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Balog of Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Genevieve departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Genevieve may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Genevieve leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her sister Corinne; and her grandparents, Dorothy, W. Lloyd Thomas, Richard and Rita Balog.
She is survived by: her son Gideon Ryan of Johnstown Pa; her mother Katherine Thomas Balog; her stepfather Chris Dybo; and her sister Laura Balog (Justin Osowski). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
