We announce the death of Gwendolyn D Gray of Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 86. Gwendolyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hodge and Susie Hodge (Boyd); her husbands, Wilbert Nicholson and George Gray; her children, Cecelia Smith and Malikai; and her siblings, Lula Baker, Ruth Blanche, Fred Hodge, Doris Sanders, Earl Hodge, Juanita Lowery, Arthur Lee Hodge and Loretta Hodge.
She is survived by: her children, Gaylon Ray, Myron Nicholson, Wilma Nicholson, John Kenny Nicholson and Michael Nicholson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
