He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval J. "O. J." Bell and Betty Jean Bell (Campbell); his son Kyle Bell; his stepson Tom Porter; and his sister-in-law Judy Bell.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy F. (Vinyard); his daughter Kimberly Kimble (Joe); his grandson Jacob Bell (Abigail Pike); his great grandchild Piper; and his brothers, Donald Bell (Nancy) and Terry Bell.
