He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelius Jenkins and Gracie Lee Jenkins (O'Guinn); his wife Marilyn Piggee; his son Dwight Jenkins; and his son-in-law Dennis Swinney.

He is survived by: his children, Leslie Jenkins, Sandra Swinney, Bridgette Harrill and Patrick Jenkins (Myris); his aunt Louise O'Guinn; his grandchildren, Reginald, Courtney, Rheanna and Patrick Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Re'Miya, Rebecca, Ryna, Royalty and Reina.
