John R. Doherty of Ashtabula, Ohio passed away on September 18, 2026. John, born on February 21, 1937, shared life alongside family, friends, and others. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Doherty and James Doherty. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Doherty, Kathy McMillan (Robert), Joe Doherty (Laurel Porcari) and John Doherty, Jr. (Tiffani); his grandchildren, Patrick Doherty, Jr., Nicholas Doherty, Taryn Wingfield, Ian McMillan, Riley Doherty, Flynn Doherty and Bridget Doherty; and his great grandchildren, Lilith, Raina, Vivian, Jensen and Landon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Behm Family Funeral Homes - Geneva (175 S Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
