She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Grobelny and Josephine Grobelny; her brothers, Ronald Grobelny (Sheila), Joseph Grobelny (late Monica) and Richard Grobelny (Clare); and her siblings-in-law, Birute Vedegys (late John), Vitalijia Butkus (late Benny), Peter Mekesa (Sue), Ruta Degutis (late Victor) and Vytas Mekesa (Kathleen).
She is survived by: her husband Gintas Mekesa; her daughters, Jennifer Beale (Scott) and Heather (Steven Seasly); her grandsons, Henry and George Seasly; her close friend Ginger; her siblings, Tremont and Cathy Soukup (Tom); her nieces and nephews, Kevin Grobelny (Sheryl), Chris Grobelny (Maria), Stacey Grobelny, Richard Grobelny (Megan), Sharon Grobelny, Vilija Struna (John), Kriste Duhigg (Mark), Shanon Ellis (Mark), Audra Norton (Patrick), Saulis Butkus, Daina Milicic (Mario), Melissa Reber (Ryan) and Emilija Grigely (Stephen); and her family, Karen, Scott and Steve.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church (5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Cleveland, OH 44143).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Lawrence School in support of tuition assistance.
