She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Reginald Shelby and Jessie Shelby. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Rodriguez and Alvin Rodriguez (Danae); her granddaughter Emme Rodriguez; her brother Reginald Shelby (Desi); and her nephew Markese Shelby.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors (526 W Prospect Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004).
She was a proud inductee of the Edgewood Hall of Fame and the founder of the Shelby Family Foundation of Ashtabula County, which provides scholarships to help minorities pursue careers as EMTs, firefighters, and police officers.
