He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Edward and June Dawson (Lowe); and his brothers, Bernard, Ronald, Frank and Brian Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Dawson; his sons, Shawn Kline (Shamika Williams) of Cleveland, James Sierra (Melody) of Lusby, MD and Frank Dawson (Kyle Kozlowski) of Mentor; his grandchildren, Kaley, Chance, Noah and Carley; his siblings, Jerald Dawson of Strongsville and Janice Thompson; his cousin Craig Dawson (Rosie); and his pets, Elsa and Yoda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
