He is survived by: his wife Kerry Rice; his children, Katelynn Borden (Alex), Melissa Shaffer, Lawrence Shaffer III, Summer Jordan (Michael) and Alicia Harju; his grandchildren, Jace Knepper, Colton Jaite, Destiney Storms, Skyler Campbell, Parker Ash, Tucker Bennett and Jameson Bennett; his sister-in-law Anna Harju (Adam); and his cousins, Robin and Jerry Jones. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Czup Funeral Home (1329 Lake Ave, Ashtabula, OH 44004). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
