She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Clyde Huffman (Sawyers); her husband Reginald Gillespie; her sons, Ernie and Dennis Knapp; her siblings, Pete Huffman, Evelyn Cole and Emma Gray Loudermilk; her nephew Jim Cole; and her niece Martha Cole.

She is survived by: her son Robert Gillespie (June) of Ashtabula; her grandchildren, Mark Knapp, Tina Knapp and Thomas Knapp; and her great grandchildren, Cody, Zoie and Christian.
