He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovell Armstrong and Beryl Armstrong; his wife Reta Vannoy; and his siblings, Verlene Gavanus, Bob Armstrong and Ronnie Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Haines (Larry), Peggy Armstrong (Tony Ifft), Michael Armstrong and Cheryl Brady (Jerry); his grandchildren, Lauren Walerow (Alex), Glenn Haines (Kaitlin), Calvin Haines (Ashley), Leah Brady (Jonathan Melnik) and Nick Brady (Mattie); and his great grandchildren, Maelyn Haines, Jack Haines, Emelia Haines, Adelaide Walerow and Julia Haines.
