She was predeceased by : her parents, John Apltauer and Mabel Apltauer (Rudd); and her siblings, John Apltauer, Audrey Ruffo, Florence Stoner, Dorothy Landig and Frances Apltauer.

She is survived by : her husband Richard La Du; her children, Cyndi Riley (Tim) of Richfield, Mark La Du (Yadranka Perkov) of Ashtabula and Keith La Du (Amy) of Marysville; and her grandchildren, Christine, Ryan, Victoria "Tori", Katie, Patrick, Carley and Kyle.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Presbyterian Church (1342 W Prospect Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
