She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brewer and Muriel Brewer (Burner); her husband Charles E. Simms; her children, Joanne Mitchell and David Simms; her granddaughter Shellie Parker; her siblings, Elizabeth Pence, Carl Brewer and Lucille Jones; and her sister-in-law Tay Brewer.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Wright (Brian); her grandchildren, Chuck, Brian Mitchell, Lisa Thatcher (Wayne), Brandi, Corey Simms, Jason (Becky) and Amanda Campbell (Bryan); and her siblings, Clyde Brewer and Denna Skaruppa (Andy). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ducro Funeral Home (4524 Elm Ave, Ashtabula, OH 44004). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Edgewood Cemetery (4011 State Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004).
