With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Alberta Monterrubio of Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on April 19, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Monterrubio and Justina Crescencio; her son Miguel A. Guzman; and her siblings, Juana, Ninfa, Francisco and Zacarias.

She is survived by: her children, Francisco "Pancho" Monterrubio (Gloria) of Ashtabula, Evaristo Guzman (Yari) of Erie, PA, Erika Picasso (Hector) of Ashtabula and Mirella Guzman of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Bianca, Gabriela, Lili, Selena, Cristobal, Emmanuel, Crystal, Mitzi, Ariana, Alex, Erik of Sharaim, AB, Noemi and Isaias; and her great grandchildren, Frankie, Juan Daniel, Sebastian, Josseline, Camilo, Zailyn, Miraly, Eliel, Camila, Emiliano, Lisi, Jovani, Aaliyah and Mateo.
