She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hill and Ida Hill (Stoker); her husband Matthew Carson, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Matthew Arndt and Bryon Glover; her brothers-in-law, Robert Shakespeare and Harlow Carson; and her nephew William Shakespeare.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Carson III, Dianne Carson-Arndt, Debra Carson, Denise Carson and Darlene Carson-Glover; her sister Phyllis Shakespeare; and her grandchildren, James Arndt (Jen), Jason Arndt (Kate) and Meghan Dalaba (Jon). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
