She is survived by: her children, Donna Puryear, Carol Rucker (Tim), Darlene Jones and Cyndi Ridley (Calvin); and her son-in-law George Allen. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Army Emergency Release Fund, benefiting wounded soldiers and their families.
