The memory of Myrtle Christine Welker (Ashtabula, Ohio), who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Perkins and Gladys Perkins (Pierce); her husband Richard Lee Welker; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Hamrick; her great grandchild Piper; and her siblings, Lucille Mracek, Marlene Shaffer, Cynthia Keyes, Timothy, Charles, John Jr., Ronald and Robert Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Butler (Brian), Kenneth Hamrick (Pil) and Kris Hamrick; and her siblings, Gerald Perkins of Ashtabula, Evelyn Beeman of Ashtabula, James Perkins of Ashtabula, William Perkins (Cheryl) of Geneva, Rebecca Jeffrey of Andover and Thomas Perkins (Nicole) of Ashtabula. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Community Church of God (1910 S Ridge Rd W, Ashtabula, OH 44004). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
