She was predeceased by: her parents, Guiseppi Vetrano and Carmella Vetrano (Cinquegrana); her husband John Forest Elzeer; her son John; and her siblings, Genevieve Ecklund, Fannie Ray, Rose Orsuto, Grace Cicconetti, Antoinette Morano, Florence Candela, Anthony, Matthew, Louis, Stephen and Joseph Vetrano.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Simmons of Ashtabula; her granddaughter Amy Whitmire (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Evan and Alyssa; her daughter Michele May of Ocoee; her grandsons, Ryan May and Danny May (Jenna); her great grandchildren, Kaden, Austin and Brody; her grandchildren, Lauren, Regan, John D. and William Elzeer; John S. Elzeer (Jennifer) of Gotha, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Parish (1220 E 21st St, Ashtabula, OH 44004).
