He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cevera and Madaline Cevera (Mongillo); his wife Brenda Cevera (Bishop); his son Robert Cevera Sr.; his grandson Robert Cevera Jr.; and his siblings, Steve, Bernard, Thomas Cevera, Anne Sandella Patricia Huggins, Barbara DeCamillo, Grace Caruso Passella and Carmel.
He is survived by: his son Richard Cevera Jr. (Shelley); his grandchildren, Jennifer Glotzbecker (Joshua) and Kyle Cevera; and his great grandchildren, Zander, Quintin and Torrick Glotzbecker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Guerriero Funeral Home (1550 W 19th St, Ashtabula, OH 44004).
