We announce the death of Shirley Ann Fassett (Ashtabula, Ohio), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 91. Shirley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Marie Ball (Onion); her husband Ralph Fassett; and her siblings, Russell Ball, Alice Wetmore, Betty Duff, Bernita Stasney and Robert Ball.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Hess (Preston), James Fassett (Cathy) and Jerry Fassett (Della); her grandchildren, Lauren (Robert) of Maine, Allison Hess (Andrew Porter), Meghan Henry (Judah), Michelle Rzeszutek (Caleb), Morgan Fassett (Kenny Purtillo), Michael Fassett, Tiffany Fassett and Eric Fassett (Kellie); and her brother-in-law Warren Duff. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
