He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hogan and Antonya Hogan (Herle); his brother A. William Hogan; and his sister-in-law Ada Hogan (Dickinson). He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Hogan (Burr); his children, Amy Reed (Dave Sycz), John Hogan (Wendy), Susanna Hogan and Sarah Bowers (Jessie); his grandchildren, Clay Reed (Megan McCluskey), Tristan Hogan (Claire Eidens), Nathan Reed, Madalyn Hogan, Dylan Johnston, Rowan Johnston and Harriet Johnston; his great grandchild Meadow Reed; and his brother James Hogan (Christine). He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors (526 W Prospect Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Calasanctius Church (32 E Jefferson St, Jefferson, OH 44047). A committal service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Plymouth Township Fire Department or St. Joseph Calasanctius Church.
