She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Roese and Erma Roese (Haynes); and her siblings, Harold, Stanley Roese, Ruby Teets, Norma Kraft and Clara Gregg.
She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Messick; her son Mark Messick (Kathy); her grandsons, Eric, John (Jessica) and Dillon Messick; and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Amelia, Olivia and Blake. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; many friends.
