We bid farewell to James Elmore Hastings of Ashville, Ohio, born in Mount Sterling, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 91. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hastings and Mary Hastings (Bogenrife); his son Brett Hastings; and his grandson Zane Grabans. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Hastings (Fausnaugh); his children, Rom Hastings (Jodi), Holly Powell (Rob) and Matt Hastings (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Chelsey Gable (Drew), Derek Hastings (Vickie), Cody Hastings (Karissa), Leslie McMurray (Ben), Jacob Hastings, Mallory Heiing (Austin) and Raelynn "Gracie" Hastings. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
