She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey D. Carpenter; her parents, Jonnie M. Corbin and Sue Corbin (Grissom); her children, Madelyn Schwarer and David Carpenter; and her siblings, Lance Corbin and Christy Winters. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
