She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Cathel and Bernice Cathel (Hinton); her husband Paul E. Welsh Jr.; and her brothers, Roger, Carl, Marion, Merle, Jerry and Paul Cathel.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey Eitel (Stephanie) and Angie Ruff (Todd); her stepchildren, Steve Welsh (Jill), Paul Russell Welsh (Colene), Paula Welsh, Treva Welsh (Dale Costlow) and Kevin Welsh (Robin); her sister Sharon Pontious; her cousin Mary Gillispie; and her grandchildren, Jared, Sarah, Wesley, Taylor, Jason, Heather, S. Tyler, Lucas, Brandon, Michelle, Ty, Kasi, Joe, Stefani, Nikki and Travis. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
