He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold B. Watkins and Viola G. Watkins (Heller); his son Jason R. Watkins; and his grandson Matthew Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Janet Watkins (Barber); his children, Jon R. Watkins (Shelly), Jeff Watkins (Cindi), Joe Watkins (Tawnya) and Beth Allen (David); his stepdaughter Tresa Brown (Matt); his brother Harold Watkins (Catherine); his close friend Tom Babbit; and his friend Suzie Price. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Amazing Grace Church (2255 Quail Creek Blvd, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Helping Hands Womens' Ministry at Amazing Grace Church.
