He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Williams and Clarice Porter Williams Shields; and his siblings, Debbie Cline, Barry Shields and Danny Shields.
He is survived by: his close friend Christine "Flower" Parsley; and his sister Sharon Ulsenheimer.
Later, he retired from RSVP Transportation in Athens County.
