She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Shrewsbury Haine and Jennings Brewer. She is survived by: her sons, James E. Sammons, Jr. (Gina) and Steven E. Sammons; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Gia, Chase and A. J. Sammons.
