He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer F. Poston and Mearl Hawk Poston; his wife Betty E. Stiles Poston; and his brother Paul Poston. He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa Poston-Evans (Jim) of Athens and Lori Poston of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Bill, Shay (Seth Brooks) and Meghan Schott; his pet Jasper; and his brother Frank Poston of Woodstock, GA..

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the West Union St. Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to causes that Bill valued - Aladdin Shriners Hospital Association for Children, 1801 Gateway Circle, Grove City, OH 43123 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
