With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Lawrence of Athens, Ohio, born in Winifrede, West Virginia, who passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. "Willie" Lawrence and Ethel Belle Pettry Lawrence; his daughters, Teresa Yvonne Helmbright and Donna Kay Walker; his granddaughter Angela Dione Lawrence; and his siblings, Nancy Treadway and Danny Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Leslie Davidek Lawrence; his sons, Billy Dwayne Lawrence (Pam) of Beckley, WV and Ryan Matthew Lawrence (Elizabeth) of Raleigh, NC; and his brother Jerry Lawrence (Vera) of Beckley, WV.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two (and a half) great, great grandchildren.
