With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Chris West of Athens, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas S. "Wendy" Pitts and Leola M. Swart Pitts Markins; and her sister Jackie Gould. She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mike" Lee West; her children, Tabitha Cottrill (Edward) of Athens, Michael Richard West (Ellen) of Chauncey and Mickey Allen West (Kaylee) of Athens; her grandchildren, Kyle (Destiny), Mason, Sophia, Bentlee, Cheyanne, Halley, Seth and Gaige; her great grandchildren, Paislee, Jaxson, Oakley and Brantlee; and her sisters, Connie Welch of Glouster, Charlene Bolin of Lancaster and Joyce Wicker (Danny) of Marion. She is also survived by her pet companion, Pretty Girl; several brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
