He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Hunter Brown; his children, Debbra Jean Riggs of The Plains and Dennis Lee Brown of The Plains; his siblings-in-law, Garry and Rebecca "Becky" Hunter of Athens; his grandchildren, Stephanie Eldridge (Ben) of Marion, Jason Riggs (Courtney) of College Grove and Travis Brown of Athens; his great grandchildren, Drue Riggs, Drake Riggs of College Grove, Asher Eldridge of Marion, Illinois and Ellie Eldridge of Marion, Illinois; and his sons, Rev. David Roach and Rev. Vincent Pontius. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
