It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wilson (Athens, Ohio), who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Wilson and Dorothy Montgomery Wilson; and his siblings, Wanda Jayjohn, Bill, Paul and Jack Wilson.

He is survived by : his wife Ruthie Hillyer Wilson; his children, David J. Wilson (Jane), Todd Wilson (Faye), Dorothy Wilson and Rena Trappe (Brian); his siblings, Merritt Wilson, Marilyn Sparks and Wyona Puckett; his niece Renee Shimwell; his nephews, Benjamin and McCullin; his sister-in-law Thelma Hillyer; his close friends, Gary and Barb Baldwin; and his pet Ivy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
