It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deanna Barrows Mayes of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl A. Barrows and Janice Brown Barrows; her husband Allen Mayes; and her brother Chuck Barrows. She is survived by: her children, Paul Scott (Amy) of Athens, Katrina Mayes of Athens and Tiffany Marnati-Scott of Albany; her sister Kathy Barrows of Athens; and her grandchildren, Gage Scott, Colt Scott, Brighton Smith, Kaleigh Scott, Steven Vance II and Adam Vance.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
