She is survived by: her husband Calvin Wesley "John" Murphy; her son Shannon Murphy of Athens; her daughter-in-law Leanna Davis; her grandchildren, Connor, Bethany and Dylan; and her close friend Wendy Graber of Athens. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several brothers in law and sisters in law.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
