He was predeceased by: his parents, Craig D. Slagle and Violet Slagle; his wife Donna Jean Buck Slagle; his siblings, Robert Slagle (Vera) and Yvonne Slagle; and his brother-in-law Carl Henning.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Spicer (Lincoln) of Newark, OH and Mark D. Slagle of Athens; his grandchildren, Lincoln Spicer II (Whitney) of Newark, OH and Lauren R. Spicer of Columbus, OH; his stepgrandchildren, Stacey Vermilion of Heath, OH, Jade Gianakopoulos (Anastasios) of Clearwater, FL and Melvin Spicer (Kristin) of Newark, OH; his great grandchildren, Madelijn and Annelies Spicer of Newark, OH; his sister-in-law Judy Henning of Naples, FL; and his nieces, Diane Hall (Ev), Maribeth Slagle and Melanie Schaefer.
