It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Young of Athens, Ohio, born in Buchtel, Ohio, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Sullivan and Mary Sullivan Day (Rife); her husband George William Young; her daughter Jane Cuckler; her siblings, Charlotte Campbell (Ernie), James Day, William Day, Leroy Sullivan (Betty), Malachi Sullivan (Shirley), Frank Sullivan and Gordon Sullivan (Donna); and her stepfather Guy Day.
She is survived by : her children, George Larry Young of Columbus, Sheila Kline (Jim) of Nelsonville, Mary Kay Rose (Randy) of Columbus and Cathy Linscott (Charles Paugh) of Marietta; her brothers, Robert "Bob" Day (Joyce) of Nelsonville and John L. Sullivan (Prentice) of Buchtel; her sisters-in-law, Patty Sullivan of Buchtel, Carolyn Schein of Carbon Hill and Pat Humphry of Columbus; and her son-in-law Dennis Cuckler of Clearwater, FL.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
