It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily McAfee of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Franklin Dishong and Dessie Carsey Dishong; and her husband Gordon McAfee. She is survived by : her brother David; her sister-in-law Elaine Dishong of England; her aunts, Cynthia Bateman (Tom) of Athens and Darlene Richard of The Plains; her cousin Walter Steve Hummell (Joyce) of Coshocton; and her brother Emory Dishong.
