It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francine C. Childs of Athens, Ohio, born in Wellington, Texas, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Frazier Thomas and Nathan Rogers; her grandparents, John Frazier and Clara Frazier; her brothers, Charles R. Rayford and Harold D. Cooper; and her aunts, Dorothy Robinson and Mary Elizabeth Waugh.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Childs of Athens, OH; her brothers, Aaron Rayford Sr. of Norman, OK, James A. Smith of Borger, TX and Rev. Ricky Rush of Dallas, TX; and her nephew Aaron Rayford II of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends, the many children.
