With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Whitlatch of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on March 24, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gary farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clyde and Fern W. Ross Whitlatch; his wife Anita Joyce Hanning Whitlatch; his sisters, Judith G. (Ted N) and Arizona; and his sisters-in-law, Linda L. Dixon Whitlatch and Donna J. Smith Whitlatch.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Trey Allan Whitlatch and Noah (Dar Tristan Whitlatch) of Reynoldsburg; and his brothers, Robert R. Whitlatch of Pataskala and Jeffrey Allan Whitlatch of Athens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
