She was predeceased by: her parents, Chesley Dellinger and Willa Dellinger (Sanborn); and her son Dan Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Mark Phillips (Barb Bronson) and Lisa Wood (Steve); her brother Harry Dellinger (Becky); and her grandchildren, Amber Phillips, Rachel Wood, Jacob Phillips, Cassidy Wood, Hunter Wood (Andy Veladota), Madison Phillips, Emily Phillips, Julie Shilling (Steve) and Janet Phillips.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home (168 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701).
In 1969, she moved to Washington, D.C. and started working for the State and Land-Grant University Foundation, followed by the American Vocational Association.
