We announce the death of Keith Peterson of Athens, Ohio, born in Mineola, New York, who passed away on September 24, 2026. Keith will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane and Gwendolyn; and his parents-in-law, Rev. Clarence and Edith Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his brother Todd Peterson (Diane); his son Trevor; his daughter-in-law Amy; his grandsons, Samuel Rizzo and Callum Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Harold Carlson (Gabrielle) and Edith Doud (Jerry).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (69 Mill St, Athens, OH 45701).
