We bid farewell to Kent Phillips of Athens, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 23, 2026 at the age of 77. Kent touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Kent may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kent touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his daughter Kendra Gettles (James); his granddaughter Quinn; his mother Elizabeth Phillips; and his siblings, Kristie Riffle (Ron) and Kevin Phillips (Emma).
