She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher C Brooks and Ethel Perry Brooks; her husband Thomas R Savage; her son Jerry W Scurlock; and her siblings, Mary Baker, Addie Gould and Robert Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Scurlock of Athens, Wilfred "Willie" Scurlock, Jr. (Teresa) of Athens, Brenda Scurlock of Butchel, Debbie Hart (Joey) of Millfield and David Scurlock of Athens; and her siblings, Barney Brooks of Athens, Martha Coakley (Bill) of Logan and Ella Holley of Athens. She is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren.
