Lyle Whybrew Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lyle Whybrew of Athens, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lyle Whybrew to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Laverne Smith and Ernest Earl Whybrew; his wife Michealee Frances Schoch Whybrew (Micki); his grandparents, Homer, Ethel Collins, Elmer and Edna Whybrew; and his stepsiblings, Bob, Dick Smith and Debra Bunnell.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Whybrew (Ben Buchanan); his siblings, Kay Rossok (Eric) and Randy Whybrew (Joyce); and his stepsister Shari McIlvain (Ron). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home (327 W Main St, Tipp City, OH 45371). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Dayton Foundation for the "Lyle and Micki Whybrew Scholarship Fund" would be greatly appreciated.
