With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ned W. Jones of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on November 2, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Debbie; his children, Dawn Green (Jerry), Tabitha Bond (Andy), Joshua Jones (Katja), Michelle Jackson (Christopher) and Michael Jones (Louis Andrade); his grandchildren, Gabby, Wes, Emily, Aaron, Allison, Kyle, John, Hayley, Tommy, Mackenzie, Justin, Andy, Cameron, Lillian, Trenton, Marissa and Viktoria; his great grandchildren, Karsen, Kalum, Weston, Bryson, Amelia, Eliza, Annie, Myles, Waylon and Baby Fox; his siblings, Jane White, Barbara Kelley, Noreen Jones, Mary Beth Yaeger (William), Bonnie Travis (Joe Busby), Ralph Jones (Patricia) and Pam Cox (Michael); his parents, Ralph Jones and Mary Jane Jones; his brother Clair Jones; his brothers-in-law, Howard Kelley and Paul White; and his nephew Eric Jones. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Ned fought his battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia valiantly, and as his family we lost him to the disease, but he has now won. In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to donate to the Alzheimer's foundation (Alz.org) in his honor.
