It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Mottl of Athens, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Mottl and Vlasta Cerny Mottl; and his wife Beverly Ann Jaskulski Mottl. He is survived by : his daughters, Julie Bartlett (Keith) of Albany and Rebecca Meyer (Charlie) of Hudson; his grandchildren, Anthony Matheny (Mercedes), Annie Meyer and Abby Meyer; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Matheny and Eli Matheny.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth Home Care and Hospice, 444 W. Union St., Suite C, Athens, OH 45701.
