She is survived by: her parents, William Barnett and Betty Thomas of Athens; her children, Darrylyana Belk, Dena Lauderdale of Athens, Georgia, Jasmine Wheeler (DeVonta Davis) of Athens, Georgia and Shanade Curtis of Athens, Georgia; her siblings, William Thomas of Dayton, Kenyana Thomas (Marcel) of Athens, Georgia, William Barnett, Jr. of Athens, Georgia, Bernard Henson of Athens, Georgia, Jacqueline Thomas of Atlanta and Delores Barnett of Athens, Georgia; and her close friend John Black. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
