We announce the death of Sharon Sayre of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Cook and Lovella "Sue" Koon Cook; her husband Larry Sayre; her brother Ronnie Cook; and her aunts, Eileen Koon, Dorothy Koon, Ruth Koon and Kate Koon.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Sayre (Kristin) of Athens and Steven Sayre of Jacksonville; and her grandson Seth Sayre of Amanda, OH..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Chapel (6525 OH-78, Glouster, OH 45732). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
