He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Dale and Marjorie Gayle Reeder. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Reeder (Gresko); his sons, Christopher Reeder Ortiz (Jesus Antonio), Michael Reeder (Sonal Patel), Stephen Reeder (Keira Sterns), Matthew Reeder (Erica Skillman) and David Reeder Jr. (Christina Campbell); his grandchildren, Kaley, Anthony, Christina, Evelyn, Remi and Rory; his sister Cynthia Brennan (Reeder); and his niece Kate Geletka.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St John Funeral Home - Bainbridge Township (16381 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:15 PM at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
